In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces through landscaping, grounds maintenance, and landscape enhancement projects. Your expertise will help create inviting, safe, and sustainable environments for our clients and communities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your horticultural knowledge, and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of various properties. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support healthy landscape development and pest management strategies Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and conserve water resources Execute landscape enhancements including planting new greenery, installing hardscape features like pathways or retaining walls, and maintaining existing structures Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes to maintain year-round beauty and accessibility Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience in landscaping or groundskeeping roles with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Mechanical knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation techniques Ability to identify plants accurately and manage pests using appropriate pesticide management practices Familiarity with safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Strong physical stamina for activities such as lifting heavy materials, operating machinery, and working in various weather conditions Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape maintenance and gardening tasks Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant retreats!
