Pay :
$22- $27 an hour- Full-time Requirements Available to travel 100% of the time Al least 1+ year of background and formal experience in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, pesticide application Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis. Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time. Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, and other environmental risks. Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment. Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others. Must comply with Dragonfly's policies and procedures. Possesses core values compatible with those of Dragonfly Pond Works (Quality Focus, Take Ownership, Growth Oriented) Key Responsibilities Working under the direct supervision of the Crew Lead, this is a field-based position and functions as an integral component to the smooth and profitable execution of work in the field. While each project is different, the technician's responsibilities encompass the following: Assist Foreman on all aspects of pond maintenance services. Mowing/string trimming slopes and basins of ponds Selective removal of invasive plants around ponds Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks. Collection of company owned equipment and tools at the end of the day. May be asked to help in other divisions such as inspection repair as needed. Travel to different locations as needed. Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment: Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac. Edgers, string trimmers and chain saws Backpack blowers and sprayers Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools.
