Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining a pristine, inviting environment for players and visitors alike. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring the golf course's lush landscapes, smooth fairways, and well-manicured greens are kept in top condition. Your dedication will help deliver an exceptional experience for all who enjoy our beautiful course, fostering a welcoming atmosphere through your hands-on maintenance expertise and attention to detail. Responsibilities Maintain the overall health and appearance of the golf course by performing landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing greens, fairways, and roughs. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform routine maintenance on turf areas, trees, shrubs, and flower beds. Assist with irrigation system management, including inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules. Conduct regular inspections of the course to identify areas needing repair or improvement; perform basic landscaping tasks to enhance course aesthetics. Support general gardening efforts by planting new greenery, mulching beds, and removing weeds or debris that may detract from the course's appearance. Collaborate with team members to execute seasonal projects such as aeration, topdressing, or drainage improvements. Follow safety protocols at all times while handling equipment and chemicals to ensure a secure work environment. Requirements Prior experience with landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is advantageous. Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and other landscaping equipment safely. Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and landscaping tasks. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining course quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
