This hands-on role involves essential tasks such as weed whacking, planting, land clearing, hedge trimming, and weed mat installation , all aimed at fostering healthy, thriving landscapes with minimal ecological impact. This paid position offers a meaningful opportunity to develop practical skills in landscape maintenance and construction while contributing to vibrant, eco-friendly environments that inspire and delight our clients Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, digging, and installing landscape features Support the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls Perform lawn care duties including, fertilization, and meticulous trimming to promote lush growth Help with tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and planting to maintain safety and aesthetics Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and assisting with system installation or repairs Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Prior experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other machinery is a plus but not required Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care practices is advantageous Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to gain practical experience in landscaping while contributing to high-quality outdoor projects.
