Overview Join our team as a Grounds Keeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves caring for landscapes, ensuring irrigation systems are operational, and performing routine maintenance to keep grounds pristine and inviting. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to sustain healthy and attractive grounds Operate power tools and hand tools safely to carry out landscaping projects and routine upkeep Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct lawn care activities such as fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote lush greenery Maintain gardens by planting new flora, mulching beds, and removing debris or pests effectively Carry out general maintenance tasks on outdoor facilities, pathways, fences, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality Assist with seasonal clean-up activities and support landscaping projects that improve the overall appearance of the grounds Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture preferred Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscaping best practices Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and other gardening equipment safely Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and outdoor maintenance Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to grounds upkeep Valid driver's license or reliable transportation is a plus Join us in creating welcoming outdoor environments that inspire community pride!
