Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic landscape installation team and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. As a Landscape Installer, you will be hands-on in creating stunning landscapes, installing hardscapes, planting trees and shrubs, and ensuring every project meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role offers an energetic environment where your skills in landscaping, construction, irrigation (a must) and maintenance will thrive, contributing to the beautification of residential and commercial properties. Duties Install various landscape features including lawns, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and hardscape elements such as patios and walkways using hand tools and power tools. Operate machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment safely and efficiently to prepare sites for planting or installation. Perform lawn care tasks including aeration, fertilization, and irrigation system installation to ensure healthy turf and plant growth. Conduct landscape maintenance activities like pruning, tree trimming, mulching, to keep properties looking pristine year-round. Assist with site preparation by excavating soil, grading land for proper drainage, and setting foundations for hardscape features. Follow project plans and specifications meticulously to ensure installations meet design standards and client expectations. Maintain all tools and equipment in excellent condition; adhere to safety protocols at all times during operations. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as, trimmers, and chainsaw. Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, horticulture principles, and gardening fundamentals. Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping projects including hardscape installation and site grading. Ability to perform physical tasks requiring strength and stamina; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Prior experience with tree care activities like trimming or planting is a plus; knowledge of irrigation systems is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with excellent teamwork skills; effective communication abilities are preferred. Valid driver's license is required; certifications in landscaping or horticulture are advantageous but not mandatory.
