Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lawn Care Worker and become a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional landscapes. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing lawns, gardens, and landscape features through hands-on work with a variety of tools and equipment. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating inviting environments that clients will enjoy year-round. This position offers an engaging work environment where physical activity, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor aesthetics are celebrated. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal efficiently. Maintain landscape features by planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and performing landscape maintenance tasks. Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hoes, and pruners to support gardening and planting projects. Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure healthy plant growth and water efficiency. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites for paving or stonework, including excavation with equipment like mini excavators when necessary. Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients. Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using power tools and hand tools safely. Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, planting, and soil preparation. Experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred; a strong interest in gardening is a plus. Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is advantageous. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is required. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards.
