Job Description
Duties:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete various landscaping projects
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees in gardens and other outdoor spaces
- Assist with tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering schedules are followed
- Dig trenches and install irrigation systems as needed
- Provide general lawn care services such as fertilizing, aerating, and seeding
- Build and repair landscape features such as fences, pathways, and retaining walls
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping
- Experience with tree care including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Ability to operate irrigation systems and ensure proper watering schedules
- Knowledge of lawn care practices such as fertilizing, aerating, and seeding
- Ability to build and repair landscape features using appropriate materials and techniques
