As a Landscape Laborer, you will be an essential part of our crew, bringing landscapes to life through hands-on work, precision, and teamwork. Whether you're trimming trees, installing irrigation systems, or maintaining lawns, your efforts will directly contribute to the visual appeal and health of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Assist in landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers with proper horticultural techniques. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and landscape construction. Maintain lawns through mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush and healthy turf. Perform landscape maintenance activities such as trimming trees and bushes, pruning shrubs, and caring for gardens. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites with excavation equipment like mini-excavators and assisting with stone or paver installation. Manage irrigation systems including installation, repairs, and seasonal adjustments to ensure efficient watering. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients. Follow safety protocols at all times while handling tools such as hedge trimmers, shovels, rakes, and power saws. Experience Prior experience in landscaping or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment like excavators or lawnmowers is a plus. Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care and soil management. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively. Experience with tree care activities such as trimming or pruning is advantageous. Basic understanding of irrigation systems installation and maintenance.
