Landscaper

Maintains and improves facility grounds Utilize planned designs to determine landscaping needs Performs tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, removing ice, etc. Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches Operate various types of equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, sprayers, etc. Clean and upkeep sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc. Performs regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch Picking up trash and debris Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customer Adheres to all safety policies and procedures Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager North Beach Village Resorts provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner Valid Drivers License Must have the ability to bend, squat, and frequently lift 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 80 lbs Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time Must be able to withstand working in heat, rain, sun, and cold Must be able to work around fertilizer and registered pesticides Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed A high school diploma is a plus Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
