This is a hands-on, physical outdoor position. We are looking for dependable people who are willing to work hard, learn, and be part of a professional landscape crew.
Responsibilities include:
Install trees, palms, shrubs, groundcovers, and ornamental plants Install sod Install mulch, decorative rock, shell, and other landscape materials Prepare planting beds and landscape areas Assist with grading and site preparation Remove existing sod, plants, shrubs, and landscape material as needed Load and unload plants, sod, mulch, rock, soil, and other materials Move materials using wheelbarrows, hand tools, and equipment Dig planting holes and prepare soil Assist with drainage and general site work as needed Help maintain clean and organized jobsites Remove debris and excess material Properly use and care for company tools and equipment Follow instructions from the Crew Leader and Project Manager Maintain safe work practices
Requirements:
Landscape installation experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Must be willing and able to perform physical work throughout the day Must be able to work outdoors in Florida heat and weather conditions Must be able to lift and move landscape materials Dependable and able to arrive on time every day Able to work well as part of a crew Valid driver's license preferred Experience with skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, or other landscape equipment is a plus South Florida plant and landscape experience is a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the
United States Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Typically 40-50 hours per week Overtime available Occasional Saturday work may be required
Pay:
$17-$22 per hour, based on experience, reliability, equipment skills, and overall landscape knowledge. Experienced landscape laborers with strong installation skills and equipment experience may qualify for higher pay.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
