Our work hours are short but outside for hot days. Usually ranging from 9-10am starting and ending 1-3pm latest Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to enhance landscapes, ensure healthy plant growth, and deliver exceptional curb appeal. Whether you're involved in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or hardscape projects, your efforts will directly contribute to transforming outdoor environments into vibrant, inviting spaces. This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their skills in horticulture, construction, and landscape design while enjoying a lively and supportive work atmosphere. Duties Assist with landscape installation and maintenance tasks, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning Maintain lawns through mowing, aeration, fertilization, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, planting, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws and excavators Help with irrigation system installation and repairs to promote efficient watering practices Prepare sites for hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls using excavation equipment Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients and team members Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or construction is highly desirable Knowledge of horticulture principles including gardening techniques and plant care Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other machinery related to landscaping projects Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions Experience with tree trimming, snow plowing, or hardscape installation is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Join us if you're passionate about outdoor work and eager to grow your skills in landscaping!
