Job Description

Landscape Workshop is seeking a skilled and motivated Lawn and Ornamental Technician to join our team in Homestead, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in turf management and be dedicated to providing high-quality lawn and pest care services. This role involves a mix of hands-on work in lawn maintenance, turf care, and pest control, with a strong emphasis on safety, customer service, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Perform lawn and pest control treatments, including fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicide applications in compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. Conduct regular assessments of client lawns to ensure optimal health and appearance. Diagnose and address common turf and damaging insect issues, providing solutions tailored to each property's needs. Operate lawn care equipment and machinery, including sprayers, spreaders, and other specialized tools. Keep accurate records of treatments, materials used and completed tasks. Maintain equipment and report any issues to ensure all tools are safe and functional.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience in turf management, lawn care, and pest control services.
Experience:
One year with Lawn and Ornamental Pest Control.
Driver's License:
Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Drug-Free Workplace:
Employment is contingent upon adherence to our drug-free workplace policies.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to perform physical tasks, lift up to 50 lbs., and work outdoors in various weather conditions. BMP Certification preferred. Limited Fertilizer license preferred.
