Overview You must have experience with a weedeater and edger, I will not train. We do mainly commercial properties. Responsibilities Operate a variety of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment, including mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems, ensuring safe and efficient use. Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote lush, healthy turf. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, tree trimming, shrubbery care, and hardscape installation or repair. Identify plants and pests accurately to ensure proper plant health management and pesticide application following safety protocols. Maintain grounds by performing irrigation system installation, repair, and adjustments to ensure optimal watering schedules. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, lawn care equipment, and irrigation systems is essential for efficient operation. Familiarity with landscape construction projects such as hardscape installation or excavation is a plus. Knowledge of plant identification and horticultural practices helps ensure proper plant health management. Experience with pesticide management and safety procedures demonstrates responsible chemical handling skills. Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery including mowers, trimmers, excavators, is desirable. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments ensures compliance and accident prevention.
