We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Landscaping Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to maintaining and enhancing beautiful landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks including lawn care, garden maintenance, groundskeeping, and landscape feature installation. The Landscaping Worker will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the completion of landscape maintenance services in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, and fertilization to maintain healthy and aesthetically pleasing grass. Assist in the maintenance and care of gardens, including tasks like planting, weeding, and mulching. Perform general groundskeeping duties including raking leaves, trimming plants, and cleaning outdoor areas. Assist in pruning shrubs, bushes, and trees to maintain healthy growth and appearance. Help build and install landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements. Assist in the irrigation of plants and lawns to ensure optimal water distribution. Provide tree care services, including planting and trimming, under supervision. Work as part of a team to complete landscaping projects efficiently and effectively. Follow safety standards and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
Requirements:
Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is a plus but not required. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor such as lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods. Basic knowledge of lawn care techniques, garden management, and groundskeeping practices. Willingness to learn and take directions from supervisors. Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
Physical Demands:
