Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, ensuring proper placement and health. Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf healthy and vibrant. Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and shrub shaping to promote growth and safety. Operate hand tools and power equipment like trimmers, blowers, excavators, and irrigation systems to complete daily tasks efficiently. Support hardscape construction projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features such as pathways or retaining walls. Conduct routine landscape maintenance including watering, mulching, aeration, and general site cleanup. Follow safety protocols during equipment operation and landscape activities to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction. Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is preferred. Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Strong work ethic with the physical ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Prior experience with tree care is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of landscaping principles or certifications in horticulture are beneficial for growth within the role.
