Job Description
Job Overview Native Tree of Central Florida, Inc. is an expert Lawn, Landscape, and Tree Service based in Ocala, Florida (34471). We are currently seeking to hire dedicated Lawn, Landscape, and Tree Care Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for landscaping, lawn care, and tree work - having previous experience is an added bonus. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of residential and commercial lawns, reliably performing all duties required to complete City of Ocala and Marion County maintenance contracts, aiding our ISA Certified Arborists and expert tree trimmers with ground work, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and work ethic. This is a full-time, 40-hour (minimum) per week, uniformed position. Reliability, honesty, and integrity are non-negotiable requirements. Native Tree of Central Florida, Inc. maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any unacceptable behavior(s) and reserves the right to immediate termination due to breaching any of our above mentioned core principles. Responsibilities Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to maintain a clean, neat appearance. Execute landscape maintenance tasks including weed removal, plant & tree removal and installation, mulching, and more. Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and/or ground work for our tree trimmers to promote healthy growth and safety, under the guidance and supervision of our ISA Certified Arborists. Assist in hardscape projects such as installing walkways, retaining walls, and more. Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently. Dig, till, and prepare soil for planting new grass or plants as needed. Maintain equipment by performing regular checks, necessary repairs, and operating with proper care and procedure to avoid unnecessary wear or damage. Communicate effectively with our team and supervisors to ensure that all landscaping needs and expectations are met. Requirements Proven experience in lawn and/or tree care, groundskeeping, and landscape maintenance is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment operation. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with various landscaping techniques including hardscaping is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work is a requirement. Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members is a requirement. Valid driver's license may be required for transporting equipment between job sites. Proof of United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.
