This position is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in maintaining elite property standards and possesses a strong foundation in horticulture practices. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong work ethic, a commitment to team collaboration, and the ability to execute tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Safely and skillfully operate a full range of commercial landscaping equipment, including stand-on mowers, zero-turn mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, string trimmers, edgers, and other specialized hand and power tools.
Equipment Care:
Maintain all assigned equipment in pristine, operational condition.
Quality Execution:
Maintain high standards across the property, demonstrating an eye for detail.
Operational Excellence:
Take the extra steps necessary to ensure the grounds reflect a luxury club environment.
Teamwork & Professionalism:
Foster mutual respect within the team, communicate effectively, and maintain a high level of honesty and integrity.
Professional Requirements Experience:
Proven experience in the field of horticulture, commercial landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of horticulture standards, processes, and the standard equipment used in estate or golf course maintenance.
Capability:
Ability to work efficiently outdoors in all year-round weather conditions.
Execution:
Strong time awareness with the ability to stay on task, follow complex directions, make good decisions and problem solve on the job.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Schedule & Compensation Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, with occasional Saturday assignments based on club and seasonal requirements.
