Landscape technician

Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure pristine appearance Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, removal, and other landscaping activities Operate equipment as needed for various jobs. Maintain homes by planting new flora, mulching beds, and caring for trees through trimming and pruning Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of lawns and gardens Execute hardscape projects like installing patios, walkways, or retaining walls with precision and care Conduct routine lawn care including removing vines, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy growth Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and power tools Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices Knowledge of tree care techniques such as trimming, pruning, and health assessment Ability to handle construction-related tasks involving hardscape installation or excavation work Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance for efficient water management Skilled in the use of hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools such as chainsaws and blowers Ability to work well with others and perform various tasks outside in the heat. Good understanding of plants and design a plus Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members for any project needs. $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
