Duties Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to maintain healthy, attractive lawns Use hand tools and power tools to prune trees, shrubs, and hedges with precision and care Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, hardscape setup, and irrigation system installation or repair Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows during seasonal needs to ensure year-round property upkeep Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and optimal performance Support tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth Assist with general gardening tasks including soil preparation, mulching, and pest control Skills Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment and power tools Experience with lawn care techniques such as mowing, trimming, weeding Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including irrigation systems, hardscape features is a plus Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions Understanding of tree care practices including trimming, pruning Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols while working with machinery like excavators or snow plows This role is perfect for motivated individuals who enjoy outdoor work and take pride in enhancing the beauty of landscapes.
