Responsibilities Assists tree crews with the safe and efficient completion of tree removal, pruning, and tree care operations. Responsibilities include dragging and processing brush, feeding wood chippers, handling ropes and rigging equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work area, assisting climbers and equipment operators, directing traffic when needed, loading debris, operating basic equipment, and following all company safety procedures. Groundmen work closely with crew leaders and climbers to ensure jobs are completed safely, professionally, and efficiently. Prior tree experience is helpful but not always required; a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to perform physical outdoor labor are essential.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
