Physically walks the communities daily to remove litter and other small debris from the grounds Daily cleaning and trash pick up on the property and common areas which include pavilion areas and cafeteria facilities. Monitors grounds , buildings, and work areas for cleanliness, safety, and repairs that need to be addressed May be requested from supervisors to perform other tasks from time to time such as: Trimming hedges & lawns Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions by weatherproofing, covering outdoor furniture with tarps, tying down unsecured items, etc. Maintaining gardens and lawns, including planting, fertilizing, weeding, soil conditioning, mulching and applying pesticides Operating and maintaining garden and landscaping equipment Scheduling specialty services such as ground leveling or tent installation Ordering supplies and equipment Exterior or interior painting The ideal candidate would possess the following characteristics: Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation Reliable, Self-motivated, Honest, Detail-oriented Service-oriented Ability to follow directions and work as a team Grounds/landscaping experience required' Must be able to stand for long periods of time weed wacking around areas
