Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Technician, where your passion for nature and expertise in landscaping will flourish! In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both beautiful and functional. You'll work hands-on with various landscaping projects, from lawn care to hardscape installations, while utilizing your mechanical knowledge and skills with power tools and hand tools. What you'll do Perform lawn care activities including mowing, fertilizing, and pest control to maintain healthy grass. Carry out landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, tree trimming, and irrigation system management. Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely for construction and earth-moving projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for gardening tasks and hardscape installations. Implement snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Assist with horticulture practices by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper care. Collaborate with team members to design and execute landscape projects that meet client specifications. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular inspections and repairs. Basic qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and machinery. Preferred qualifications Experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance. Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming and health assessments. Knowledge of irrigation systems design and maintenance. Background in construction or hardscape installation techniques. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely.
