Responsibilities Operate and maintain lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to ensure efficient and safe landscape upkeep Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces pristine Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to promote healthy growth and proper care Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise Conduct seasonal tasks such as tree trimming to maintain safety and aesthetics during different weather conditions Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred; familiarity with lawn care practices is essential Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems is a strong advantage Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant identification supports healthy landscape development Ability to operate heavy machinery demonstrates versatility in landscaping tasks Strong understanding of safety protocols related to pesticide use, equipment operation, and site maintenance ensures a secure working environment
