Job Description
Position Summary We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team. Crew members are responsible for maintaining the golf course in excellent playing condition through mowing, course setup, landscaping, irrigation, and general grounds maintenance. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in creating beautiful landscapes, and like working as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you. Available Duties & Responsibilities Mow greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other turf areas using specialized golf course equipment. Operate a variety of maintenance equipment including triplex mowers, riding mowers, string trimmers, blowers, utility vehicles, and other turf equipment. Set up the golf course daily by changing hole locations, moving tee markers, replacing cups, and ensuring proper course presentation. Rake and maintain bunkers. Trim around trees, cart paths, sprinkler heads, and landscape features. Assist with irrigation repairs and watering as needed. Plant, mulch, prune, and maintain ornamental landscaping. Clean and maintain maintenance equipment and work areas. Report equipment issues or turf concerns to supervisors. Follow all safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly. Assist with special projects and other grounds maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous golf course, landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn specialized turf maintenance practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic with attention to detail. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and cold. Ability to walk several miles each day. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods. Comfortable operating machinery and working around moving equipment. Schedule Full-time and seasonal positions available. Typical shifts begin early in the morning to prepare the course before golfers arrive.
