Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Worker to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes by performing a variety of outdoor tasks. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your mechanical knowledge and passion for gardening and landscaping, will help create inviting outdoor spaces that exceed client expectations. Responsibilities Mow lawns using power tools such as mowers and trimmers to ensure even, well-manicured grass surfaces. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth. Operate hand tools and power equipment like edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers safely and efficiently. Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients. Support construction projects involving hardscape installation such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and mechanical repairs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members on tree care initiatives, including planting and removal when necessary. Assist with gardening tasks such as soil preparation, mulching, fertilizing, and pest control to enhance landscape aesthetics. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling landscaping machinery like excavators or other heavy equipment. Experience Prior experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Basic mechanical knowledge is highly advantageous for equipment troubleshooting and repairs. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators is a plus. Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems will support your success in this role. Experience in construction or hardscape projects can be beneficial for assisting with larger landscaping installations. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina is essential. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude will help you excel in maintaining high standards of landscape quality.
