Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of outdoor landscapes through expert gardening, lawn care, and landscaping practices. Your enthusiasm for horticulture and dedication to quality will help create vibrant, well-manicured outdoor spaces that delight clients and enhance community environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscape management, and contribute to visually stunning projects across our service areas. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning using hand tools and power tools to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Execute irrigation system inspections, repairs, and adjustments to maintain optimal watering schedules and conserve water resources Apply horticultural principles to plant care, including fertilization, mulching, pest control, and seasonal planting Maintain lawns and gardens through precise lawn care techniques such as aeration, overseeding, and weed control Assist with landscaping projects by installing new plants, shrubs, trees, and other landscape features according to project specifications Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Support general gardening activities such as soil preparation, planting, watering, and debris removal to promote healthy growth Experience Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Familiarity with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance equipment is advantageous Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in landscaping tasks is beneficial Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape care and maintenance Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and following instructions accurately
