Legacy Memorial Holdings LLC Augusta, GA Job Details Part-time $15 - $16 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Equipment troubleshooting Company vehicle operation Driver's License Full Job Description Job Summary The Cemetery Landscape Maintenance Associate is responsible for the professional care, upkeep, and beautification of the cemetery grounds. This role focuses on landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, debris removal, and irrigation system support. It includes responsibilities related to burial services, grave preparation, or sod/seeding installation. The associate plays a critical role in preserving the respectful and serene appearance of the cemetery and ensuring a pleasant environment for visitors and families. Primary Responsibilities Grounds & Landscape Maintenance Perform regular lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding to maintain clean, neat cemetery grounds. Prune trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants to preserve health and aesthetics. Remove leaves, limbs, trash, and other debris from plots, pathways, and common areas. Maintain and monitor cemetery irrigation systems, including identifying and reporting malfunctions. Support seasonal landscape activities such as mulching, planting (excluding sod/seed), and cleanup. Maintain clear and hazard-free walkways, driveways, and entrances. Equipment Care & Facility Support Operate, clean, and perform basic maintenance on landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.). Store equipment safely and securely in designated maintenance areas. Maintain a clean and orderly maintenance yard and workshop. Document equipment use and upkeep in logbooks as directed. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate PPE for landscape maintenance tasks. Report unsafe conditions or damage to grounds, infrastructure, or equipment promptly. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with cemetery policies and applicable regulations. Teamwork & Coordination Collaborate with other maintenance staff to prioritize and complete landscaping tasks efficiently. Maintain open communication with the Location Manager regarding scheduling, supply needs, and operational concerns. Assist with special events or seasonal beautification projects as assigned. Public Interaction Exhibit respectful and professional conduct at all times while on cemetery grounds. Provide courteous assistance or redirection to visitors and vendors when appropriate.
Expectations & Requirements Physical Demands:
Able to lift 50+ lbs., stand/walk for long periods, and work in all weather conditions.

Proficient with landscaping tools and basic equipment troubleshooting. Attention to
