Grounds Maintenance - laborer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Grounds Maintenance Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing various tasks to ensure that outdoor spaces are well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing. Key Responsibilities:

Perform general grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding. Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including lawns, walkways, parking lots, and landscaped spaces. Assist in planting and caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation. Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools. Remove debris, leaves, and trash from grounds and maintain cleanliness of all outdoor areas. Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, such as snow removal, leaf cleanup, or irrigation system maintenance. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards and environmental guidelines. Work cohesively with a team Receive and execute directions from senior team members and managers

Qualifications:

Prior experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping (preferred but not required). Ability to operate and maintain basic groundskeeping equipment. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift 20 pounds overhead Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver's license is a plus.
