Job Summary Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Lawn Care Worker, where your energy and expertise will transform outdoor spaces into vibrant, healthy landscapes. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas through skilled use of tools and equipment. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other power tools to maintain grass and shrubbery at optimal health and appearance Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching to promote plant vitality Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and hoes for planting, soil preparation, and landscaping projects Identify various plants, trees, and pests to support healthy growth and effective pest management strategies Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and basic tree care to enhance safety and aesthetics of outdoor spaces Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred; enthusiasm for grounds maintenance is essential Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and excavators Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques such as mowing, edging, planting, and hardscape installation Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Knowledge of pesticide management practices and plant identification is a plus Strong adherence to safety protocols combined with a proactive attitude toward equipment operation and outdoor work challenges This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in horticulture, groundskeeping, or landscaping.
