Responsibilities Maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, and landscape features through pruning, planting, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various gardening tasks. Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for different plantings. Manage greenhouse environments by planting seedlings, monitoring climate conditions, and ensuring healthy growth. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, aerating, and soil preparation. Apply horticultural practices to promote plant health, pest control, and disease management. Assist with farming activities such as crop planting, harvesting, and crop rotation when applicable. Support sustainable gardening practices by composting organic waste and conserving water resources. Skills Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance or related fields. Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and greenhouse management techniques. Growing experience with plants, flowers, shrubs, trees or crops. Familiarity with lawn care equipment and landscaping tools. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in outdoor settings. Knowledge of farming practices including soil preparation and crop cultivation. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to garden care and maintenance.
