Job Description
Lawncare Technician Position Summary Hill Landscaping is seeking a dependable, hardworking Lawncare Technician to help maintain residential and commercial properties to the highest standards. This position is responsible for delivering clean, professional-looking landscapes through detailed trimming, edging, shrub maintenance, and general grounds care. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and represents our company professionally. Responsibilities Perform string trimming (weedeating) around buildings, fences, trees, flower beds, and other obstacles. Create clean, crisp edges along sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and landscape beds. Trim and shape shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants according to company standards. Blow grass clippings and debris from sidewalks, parking lots, driveways, and other hard surfaces. Assist with mowing, debris removal, mulching, pinestraw installation, and other landscape maintenance tasks as needed. Safely operate and maintain commercial lawn equipment, including string trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, and related tools. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Maintain a clean, organized work truck and trailer. Follow all company safety procedures while working efficiently and carefully around customers' property. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Represent Hill Landscaping with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional appearance. Qualifications Previous lawncare or landscaping experience preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work throughout the day. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Valid driver's license is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
