Job Overview Join our team as a Lawn Care Worker and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas through hands-on work with a variety of groundskeeping tools and equipment. Your passion for outdoor work, combined with your knowledge of landscape maintenance and horticulture, will help create beautiful, healthy environments for our clients. Duties Operate lawn mowers, power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and planting tasks Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, planting flowers and greenery, and managing plant health through proper identification and care techniques Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols to control pests and protect plant health Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or hazards and address them promptly Assist with hardscape projects such as installing or repairing pathways, patios, or retaining walls when required Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping machinery Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management techniques Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or tree care equipment is a plus but not required Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Construction experience or skills in tree trimming, hardscape installation, or snow plowing are advantageous Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into lush landscapes filled with vitality!
