$23.00/hour - Based on experience Join Our ʻOhana. Care for a Landmark. Maui Kaanapali Villas spans 11 acres of beautifully maintained beachfront property on Maui's west side. As part of our dedicated team, you'll help care for the lush tropical environment that defines our resort experience. We are currently seeking a full-time Groundskeeper (Landscaper) to join our ʻohana and contribute to the natural beauty of our property. Key Responsibilities Lawn & Garden Maintenance Mow, trim, and edge lawns across the property Prune and shape trees, hedges, and shrubs Remove weeds and dead plants to maintain healthy landscapes Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and approved pesticides Maintain, adjust, and repair irrigation systems Planting & Horticultural Care Plant and nurture trees, flowers, shrubs, and other foliage Monitor plant health and inspect for signs of pests or disease Maintain neat, vibrant garden beds and landscaped areas General Groundskeeping Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, blowers, trimmers) Apply treatments to control pests in accordance with safety guidelines Support seasonal cleanup, storm prep, and beautification projects Qualifications Prior landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred Knowledge of plant care, irrigation, and pest control techniques Ability to operate and maintain standard landscaping equipment Physical ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, beautiful environment Work Conditions Full-time position, daytime hours Work involves outdoor physical activity, lifting, bending, and equipment use Uniform required while on duty Weekend and holiday shifts may be scheduled Hale Kaanapali is an equal opportunity employer.
