Job Description
Job Summary We need someone with experience in lawn care and experience in operating commercial grade lawn mowers e.i Walker Mowers, Wright Stand On Mowers, Commercial Grade push mowers, as well as experience in trimming. Duties Lead and coordinate daily lawn care and landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning. Supervise a team of crew members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure safety protocols and quality standards are met. Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water use and system functionality. Perform or assign tasks related to tree care, gardening, horticulture practices, and construction projects on-site. Conduct routine inspections of work sites to ensure adherence to safety regulations and project specifications. Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure all tools and machinery are in optimal working condition. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscape needs and provide professional recommendations for ongoing care. Skills Need to be able to drive while pulling a trailer Be able to back up a trailer Experience in using commercial lawn care equipment (Walker mowers, stand on mowers, high grade trimmers) Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture. Supervising or leadership experience within outdoor maintenance or construction teams. Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques, gardening practices, and general landscape construction. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to motivate and lead a team while maintaining high safety standards. Good communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to operate landscaping equipment safely.
