20-40 hours per week (seasonal position)
Job Summary:
The Pocatello Housing Alliance and Community Partnership (HACP) is seeking a motivated and dependable Seasonal Landscaper & Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of our housing properties in the greater Pocatello area. This role is essential in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents and the community. The position is seasonal, with variable hours depending on need (typically 20-40 hours per week). This role will start immediately and run through October, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Landscaping Duties:
Mow lawns, trim shrubs, pull weeds, and maintain flower beds Clean up debris, leaves, and trash from outdoor areas Operate landscaping tools and small equipment safely Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or leaf collection, as needed Additional projects as needed
Housekeeping Duties:
Clean and sanitize common areas, vacant units, and offices Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed Clean windows, walls, and exterior of buildings Remove trash and ensure spaces are ready for use
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; high school students are also eligible Previous experience in landscaping, janitorial, or maintenance work is a plus Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. Role does require a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a variety of weather conditions
Schedule & Pay:
Seasonal position - role to run into October 2025 Typical work hours can be between 8 am - 5 pm; work schedule will be identified with the Maintenance Manager 20-40 hours per week, depending on need

$16 per hour
