This position will assist with the day-to-day maintenance of residential and/or commercial landscapes and requires someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and is comfortable working outdoors in a variety of conditions. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, mulching, pruning, planting, trimming, and weeding to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Safely operate groundskeeping equipment Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed Assist with groundskeeping activities such as leaf removal, debris cleanup, and seasonal planting to enhance property appearance Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment Communicate with supervisors and co-workers regarding job progress, site conditions, and any problems that may arise Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and the public Follow all company safety procedures and use equipment safely Required Qualifications Valid driver's license Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions Experience with, or the ability to learn the proper use and basic maintenance of tools and equipment used Good communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the public Ability to work independently in daily operations under general direction from supervisors or senior co-workers Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related position Experience driving a truck and trailer Familiarity with commercial landscaping equipment What We Provide Seasonal employment with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule Training and instruction on equipment and job duties as needed A team-oriented work environment Growth opportunities Paid time off through Paid Leave for All Workers Act Potential opportunity for winter snow removal work as weather patterns dictate If you are dependable, willing to learn, and enjoy working outdoors, we would like to hear from you.
