Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Mower Operator / Property Maintenance Worker to complete weekly and bi-weekly mowing routes throughout Central Illinois. The primary responsibility of this position will be lawn mowing and property upkeep. However, the selected employee may also be assigned other property maintenance, cleanout, cleanup, or general labor work as needed. Applicants must be flexible, willing to assist with different types of work, and comfortable with duties changing based on company workload. A mower, trailer, and fuel will be provided.
Pay:
$17-$20 per hour, based on experience

Paid weekly | Start time: 9:00 a.m.

Mileage reimbursement for approved work-related travel Responsibilities Complete assigned weekly and bi-weekly mowing routes. Safely and efficiently operate zero-turn mowers and other lawn-care equipment. Mow, trim, edge, and blow off properties as required. Maintain a clean and professional appearance at every property. Inspect completed work to ensure company quality standards are met. Follow assigned schedules, routes, and property-specific instructions. Properly care for company-provided equipment, trailers, tools, and supplies. Report equipment problems, property concerns, or scheduling issues promptly. Assist with cleanouts, property cleanups, debris removal, general maintenance, and other fieldwork as assigned. Load, unload, lift, and move equipment, materials, debris, or household items when necessary. Communicate professionally with management, customers, and other crew members. Qualifications Previous experience operating zero-turn mowers is required. Experience completing residential or commercial mowing routes is preferred. Ability to perform consistent, detailed, and professional-quality work. Flexibility to perform mowing, cleanup, maintenance, and general labor assignments. Dependable attendance and ability to begin work at 9:00 a.m. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work independently and manage an assigned route efficiently. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to safely perform physical work throughout the workday. Willingness to travel throughout the Central Illinois service area including: Peoria, Decatur, Canton, Lincoln, etc. Professional attitude and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be reliable, experienced, flexible, and capable of completing work efficiently without sacrificing quality. Pay will be based on experience and demonstrated ability.
