Job Description
General Requirements Must be able to work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks. Able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the day. Required to be available during the off-season for snow operations as needed. Must adhere to all company safety standards, operational procedures, and policy guidelines. Specific job responsibilities are included as guidelines and can be expanded to include other duties as needed at the discretion of Green View managers at any time. Position Specific Requirements Perform pre-operation inspections on push mowers, string trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, stand-on mowers, and zero-turn mowers to ensure safe operation. Operate push mowers, string trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, stand-on mowers, and zero-turn mowers efficiently and in accordance with safety and quality standards. Maintain knowledge of cutting heights and mowing patterns that optimize turf health for various grass species. Assist with routine equipment maintenance, including blade sharpening, greasing, belt replacements, oil changes, and air filter cleaning. Identify and correct mowing-related issues such as scalping, uneven cuts, or turf stress. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company operating procedures. Meet or surpass company benchmarks for productivity, time on site, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
