Overview In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, functional, and safe landscapes across various property. Your hands-on skills will ensure that gardens, lawns, and hardscape features are pristine and thriving. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a wide range of tools and equipment. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to uphold high standards of appearance and health. Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and turf. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support healthy landscape growth and pest management strategies. Follow strict safety protocols at all times while handling equipment or working in outdoor environments to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and grounds equipment operation. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification, pruning techniques, and pesticide management. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or snow plows when required. Familiarity with safety procedures relevant to landscaping activities to ensure a secure work environment. Excellent physical stamina for performing manual labor in various weather conditions.
