Grounds Keeper - Horse Farm (Seasonal) Walker Standardbreds Sherman, IL Job Details Part-time From $17 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Property maintenance Driver's License Handyman experience Landscaping Full Job Description We are looking for a groundskeeper to string trim fence rows and maintain the garden beds in the 3 main barn areas. Responsibilities include trimming fence rows with string trimmer and maintain garden beds in barn area. You should know how to use and maintain gardening equipment, including trimmers and mowers, while following health and safety regulations. Ultimately, you will make sure our farm, fence rows and gardens healthy and beautiful. This is a seasonal position. Responsibilities Weed garden beds and mulch as necessary Trim fence rows with string trimmer Keep barn gardens clear of weeds and debris Fall clean up of garden beds Skills Familiarity with landscaping maintenance Familiarity with using string trimmer The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time Enjoy working outdoors A high school degree or GED Solid work history Valid drivers license / Reliable transportation
