Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mower/Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring the highest standards of lawn care and landscape maintenance. This role involves operating various landscaping equipment, utilizing hand tools, and performing a variety of groundskeeping tasks to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces. A strong understanding of horticulture, gardening, and landscape construction is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Lawn Mowing - Operate commercial mowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently Perform lawn mowing, trimming around obstacles, and clean up debris Ensure all work meets Fulton Landscaping's quality and safety standards Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Landscaping - Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees Install mulch, stone, and other landscaping materials Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work site Skills 6 months to a year of previous experience with zero turns Experience with lawn mowing and trimming equipment preferred Reliable transportation to and from the shop (South Beloit, IL) Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be punctual and dependable Experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Ability to operate hand tools safely Must past the background check with a clean record Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
