Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of various outdoor spaces through hands-on landscaping, groundskeeping, and equipment operation. Your expertise will help create inviting, safe, and sustainable environments that delight clients and support the overall aesthetic vision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions while applying your skills in landscape maintenance and horticulture. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools with precision and safety adherence Identify different plant species to ensure proper care, pest management, and landscape design consistency Manage irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency and ensure healthy plant growth Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and winter storm cleanup to maintain accessibility and safety during adverse weather conditions Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations Assist with tree trimming, shrubbery shaping, and landscape installation projects to enhance property aesthetics Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscaping practices and grounds maintenance Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, irrigation systems, lawn care equipment, and hardscape tools Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, pesticide management, and lawn care techniques Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols Familiarity with landscape maintenance procedures including mowing, gardening, tree trimming, and snow plowing Strong physical stamina for extended periods of outdoor activity in varying weather conditions Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow instructions precisely Valid driver's license preferred; certification in pesticide application or equipment operation is a plus Join our team if you're passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces!
