Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position involves assisting with a wide range of landscaping tasks, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and maintenance. Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and vibrant gardens Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, pruning, and landscape maintenance Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure efficient watering practices Conduct landscape maintenance activities including weeding, mulching, aerating, and snow plowing during winter months Help with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators when necessary Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safe work environments at all times Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks, lawn care, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners Mechanical knowledge or experience operating construction equipment such as excavators or other land-moving machinery is a plus Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and effectively Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques is advantageous Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed Strong work ethic with attention to safety standards and detail-oriented approach Valid driver's license preferred; ability to operate small machinery or assist with equipment setup is beneficial Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills help shape stunning outdoor environments! $24.40 - $29.38 per hour
