Overview Join our dynamic landscape team as a Crew Leader, and take charge of creating and maintaining stunning outdoor environments! In this energetic role, you will lead a dedicated crew through various landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality results while fostering a positive team atmosphere. Your expertise in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and hardscaping will drive the success of outdoor beautification efforts. As a Crew Leader, you'll be instrumental in managing daily operations, coordinating project tasks, and ensuring safety standards are met—all while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional outdoor spaces. Duties Supervise and coordinate crew activities on landscape maintenance, hardscaping construction projects, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure timely and quality completion Lead outdoor work efforts including lawn care, planting, pruning, irrigation management, and tree care with precision and attention to detail Operate grounds maintenance equipment and landscaping tools safely and efficiently, including company vehicles when needed Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper horticultural practices are followed during maintenance and planting projects

Preferred:

Manage irrigation systems for optimal water efficiency and troubleshoot irrigation issues promptly Oversee hardscape construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with a focus on craftsmanship and safety Maintain safety protocols across all tasks, ensuring team adherence to OSHA standards and company policies Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, or groundskeeping with a strong knowledge of horticulture principles Supervising or team management experience in outdoor or construction settings Skilled in plant identification, irrigation systems operation, hardscaping construction, and equipment handling Ability to operate landscaping machinery and groundskeeping tools safely and effectively Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles
