Ag Equipment Operator

Down at mullinville location we have 50 or so pivots and some dry land. Mostly corn, 2 circles of alfalfa, some dryland wheat. We run new John Deere equipment, Hagie Sprayer, massey swather. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; construct facilities; construct structures to support plant growth; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, semi trucks, sprayers, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, wheat. Must speak and understand English. Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.
