Job Description
Phillips Bros. Lawn Care, llc is seeking a self motivated individual to work with the landscape maintenance crew. Prior Experience with landscaping tools and equipment desired - ideally looking for someone familiar with proper trimming techniques. This position will involve mowing duties as well as landscaping duties. Some days employee will be working solo - must be able to perform tasks. Must have transportation. Starting pay is $24.00 per hour. 25-40 hours per week Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves caring for various landscapes, ensuring they remain healthy and aesthetically pleasing. The Landscape Technician will work with both hand and power tools to perform tasks related to lawn care, tree care, irrigation, and hardscape installation. Responsibilities Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Care for trees through pruning, fertilization, and pest management. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects. Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct groundskeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor spaces. Monitor plant health and address any issues related to pests or diseases. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications. Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with tree care practices, irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and hardscape installation is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely in an outdoor environment. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
