Company Overview:
We are a rapidly expanding commercial landscaping firm currently securing extensive ground maintenance contracts throughout the Baton Rouge metropolitan area and surrounding parishes. We are seeking highly skilled, fully equipped Independent Contractors (1099) to execute large-scale, high-visibility projects. We do not offer hourly work; we offer consistent, volume-driven partnerships for professionals who take pride in precision and efficiency.
The Opportunity:
We are building a roster of top-tier crews to handle upcoming municipal and corporate landscape maintenance agreements. This is a performance-based opportunity for teams or individuals who can deliver commercial-grade results on a strict schedule. If you are looking for stable, high-volume work and operate with a "no-excuses" mentality, we want to hear from you.
Scope of Work:
Contractors will be responsible for the complete aesthetic and structural maintenance of large commercial properties, including but not limited to:
Precision Mowing & Equipment Operation:
Operating Zero-Turn mowers and commercial tractors to execute clean, striped cuts on expansive turf areas.
Advanced Trimming & Edging:
Professional weed eating and metal-edge edging along curbs, sidewalks, beds, and hardscapes to maintain sharp, crisp boundaries.
Hedging & Shrub Maintenance:
Performing artistic and precise hedging services to maintain uniformity and shape across all landscaping features.
Tree Care & Heavy Removal:
Cutting overhanging tree limbs, hazard pruning, and complete tree removal services utilizing chainsaws and rigging equipment.
Site Cleanup:
Complete removal of all debris, clippings, and refuse from job sites to ensure a "broom-clean" final product. Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory):
Proven Experience:
Verifiable history of commercial (not residential) ground maintenance and landscaping.
Equipment Proficiency:
Must possess and be proficient in operating Zero-Turn mowers, commercial walk-behinds, and a variety of gas-powered handheld equipment (Chainsaws, Trimmers, Edgers).
Self-Sufficient:
Must have your own reliable transportation, commercial-grade equipment, and liability insurance (COI required prior to start).
Professionalism:
Ability to read site plans, follow strict protocols, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor on high-end commercial properties.
Compensation:
Competitive, per-contract pricing (1099). Consistent scheduling with weekly payouts. Volume-based project assignments ensuring steady workflow throughout the season. How to
Apply:
Serious inquiries only. Please submit your resume and a brief summary of your equipment inventory and crew size. In your response, detail your specific experience with tree removal and commercial edging. Take control of your schedule and your earnings. If you have the equipment, the experience, and the drive, let's build a long-term partnership. Apply today.
