Be able to work in extreme heat and cold weather conditions. Must have lawn care experience with working references. Must be okay with heights during holiday lighting season. Personal Conduct and Appearance Be punctual and fit for duty. Uniforms will be kept neat and worn at all times. Conduct work in a safe manner as per Company Policy. Treat coworkers, supervisors, and customers with respect. Maintain a positive attitude and encourage others.

Report To :

The Crew Member will report to immediate Supervisor. If immediate Supervisor is unavailable report to Maintenance Operations Manager.

Job Overview :

Crew Members are responsible for general maintenance and preservation of trucks, trailers, and various equipment used within the maintenance department. Crew members will assist Crew Supervisor with loading/unloading materials needed for scheduled jobs. In addition to, completing scheduled jobs to specification: meeting the expectations and policies of the company, expectations of our customers, and industry standards.

Responsibilities and Duties :

Mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing, and working with chemicals. Horticulture maintenance of pruning, hedging, weeding, spraying chemicals, etc. In the winter, installing holiday lighting. Equipment Maintenance Assist Crew Supervisor with Monday Morning Maintenance checklist. Report any broken equipment to immediately Crew Supervisor. Maintain clean and organized trucks. Job Site Follow instructions given by the Crew Supervisor to complete the scheduled job. Perform tasks correctly as instructed in Training Manuals. Work in an efficient and timely manner to complete jobs. Assist in leaving job sites aesthetically pleasing and clean of debris. Shop Grounds Assist in unloading debris from job site at the end of the day. Assist in preparing the truck for the next day. Assist in keeping shop grounds clean of debris. Assist in unloading plant shipments onto plant pad when needed. Assist with care and hand weeding plant pad.
