Job Description
Landscape Laborer We're looking for a hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This is a hands-on, outdoor position for someone who can perform physical work and safely operate basic landscaping equipment, power tools, and hand tools. Duties & Responsibilities Operate landscaping equipment including lawn mowers, weed eaters/string trimmers, leaf blowers, tillers, and other landscaping tools. Operate power tools such as drills and saws for landscape construction projects, including edging, borders, and other installations. Measure, cut, and install materials accurately while following layouts and installation instructions. Prepare site bases using picks, shovels, rakes, and other hand tools. Install weed barrier fabric, stakes, and landscape edging. Load, transport, and spread gravel, mulch, and other heavy materials using shovels and wheelbarrows. Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Perform weed control and remove unwanted vegetation. Clear debris and maintain a clean, organized job site. Follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team. Perform other landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks as needed. Requirements Experience operating a lawn mower, weed eater, and leaf blower. Comfortable and safe using basic power tools, including drills and saws. Experience with landscaping, construction, or other physically demanding outdoor work is preferred. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday and perform frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, shoveling, and work on uneven terrain. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Owning a lawn mower is a major plus but not required.
